Ah, summer. The time of year when you actually enjoy the feeling of salt in your hair, sand in your toes, and a little color on your cheeks. A little sweat from the hot sun just helps amplify your dewy highlight, and warm tones take over your vanity space. Every beauty lover needs that perfect nude palette that can easily go from day to night in the summertime, and luckily, we’ve created one that’s perfect for it. The new Nude Beach Kit is the perfect set of multi-use products that you can stick in your beach bag, your evening clutch, and everything in between. These limited-edition colors will have you feeling beachy long after your tan fades, and will become staples in your makeup collection for seasons to come.
The Palette
The palette comes with four all-new Magnetic Eye Colors (three are luminous and one is matte), as well as two staple lip pencils from our core collection, and Mary Phillips’ new collaboration Nudies Bronze Matte color in Sunkissed. The pencils are all encased in a big reusable mirrored tin for easy application for the gal on the go, and the entire set arrives in an adorable transparent makeup bag, so you can take your kit from the plane to the street in no time.
The Colors
We have created four brand new Magnetic Eye Colors so you can create the perfect warm-toned eyeshadow look to suit every summer occasion. These colors easily go from day to night, and are versatile enough to create a wide variety of looks, no matter where you’re headed.
Magnetic Luminous Eye Color in RUSTIC GROTTO: Think of this as a shimmery reddish bronze. If you’re familiar with RUSTIQUE, it has a similar look, but it’s much warmer and redder, and reads a little lighter once it has been blended out.
Magnetic Luminous Eye Color in PRAIA: If you’re already a fan of NUDITY but have wanted something with a little less glisten but a lot more shimmer, PRAIA is the color for you. It’s a beautiful sandy gold with larger chunks of glitter in it, making it perfect for an inner corner highlight, or even as some glow on your cheek bones, Cupid’s bow, and tip of the nose.
Magnetic Luminous Eye Color in PINK SEYCHELLES: This new color is unlike anything already in our collection. It’s a warm baby pink with a ton of sparkle, so you can give yourself a beautiful pink hazy smokey eye for daytime or nighttime by smudging it all over the lid. It can also work as a subtle pop of color in the inner corner of your eye.
Magnetic Matte Eye Color in MAROON’D: Fans of FIG will immediately think that this color is exactly the same, but in fact, it’s closer to a dark brick red rather than a burgundy once it has been blended out on the lid. It’s a beautifully warm and buttery, and works as a dark crease shade or the base of a blown-out smokey eye.
Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm in HAVEN: As a staple in our Gel Color collection, HAVEN is the perfect shade if you’re going for a “my lips but better” look. It’s a warm peachy nude that works on a variety of skin tones. It has just enough coverage to give you a hint of color, but mainly gives off the gorgeous sheen of a dewy, glossy lip. Plus, you can use this on your cheeks if you’re looking for a very neutral flush on the apples.
Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Color in KISS: Summer is the perfect season to perfect your rosy pink lip, which is what KISS is here for. It’s a beautiful baby pink pencil that works as both a lip liner and lip pencil, and dries down super matte for a sweat-proof, swim-proof, and even kiss-proof pout.
Nudies Bronze Matte in SUNKISSED: This custom shade created by celeb makeup artist Mary Phillips is everything you need to give your skin that glowy, I-just-spent-a-day-at-the-beach flush. Sweep it all the way from the apples of your cheeks to the hollows of your cheekbones for a natural contoured look. (After all, Mary uses it on Chrissy Teigen, so you really can’t go wrong.)
Get The Look
The beauty about this palette is that it’s so versatile. You can mix and match the colors you put on your eyes depending on how you’re feeling or what outfit you’re wearing, and all of the products layer well with the rest of our products so you can mix in your other favorites, too.
For a glossy everyday look, smudge out PINK SEYCHELLES all over your eyelid and bring it past your crease, concentrating the color toward your lash line. This will give you a natural-looking smokey eye. Tap a little bit of PRAIA into the inner corners of your eyelids, as well as the other high points of your face. Use SUNKISSED as both a blush and bronzer around the places you would normally contour (plus the apples of your cheeks), and swipe on a little bit of HAVEN to give your lips some dew.
To amp it up for nighttime, use the same smudging technique with MAROON’D to get a hazy, grungey smokey eye. You can even use a small brush to wing out the color a little bit to make it even more dramatic. Tap a little bit of RUSTIC GROTTO on the center of your eyelids to achieve a halo eye, which will make your eyes look a little rounder and brighter. Finish off the eye look with a little bit of PRAIA in the inner corner. Use SUNKISSED as a contour in the hollows of your cheeks and around your hairline, and tap a little bit of it on your lips to create a monochromatic complexion that keeps the focus on your eyes.
